Heat Pump

Heat pumps generally consist of compressor evaporator, coaxial heat exchanger and blowhouse. Compressors are preferred as scroll type to obtain more efficiency. Thanks to the bidirectional mechanical expansion valve, an easy transition to heating and cooling functions is provided. Coaxial exchangers are used in heat pumps. The outer and inner pipes of the coaxial heat exchanger are made of copper material. The inner pipe surface is used with increased groove. In the evaporator system, standard copper tube aluminum finned coils are used. The fans are used forward curved radial fans with dense blades. Heat pump devices are equipped with very sensitive electronic circuits.

What Does a Heat Pump Do

Whsp heat pumps are special devices for heating and cooling with high efficiency. High CPO and EER values allow more performance by consuming less energy. The condensation side works with water, which means that it is less dependent on outdoor air. It is more affected by temperature differences in the outside air. It is more effective and efficient in heating function than air-cooled models. There are ground source water source and tower boiler connection heat pump systems. Ground-based systems provide enough energy to be taken from the soil with water pipes laid down five meters where the ground temperature is fixed. The temperature value of five meters under the soil is between 10 and 15 degrees, which allows us to perform highly efficient heating and cooling. Streams, lakes and sea-based heat pumps are also frequently used. If there is a water source close to the application area, it is possible to benefit from this source in summer and winter. Streams and seas fall to freezing at much lower temperatures. Artificial tower and boiler connected systems help us obtain heat from the air by transporting the heat energy from the heat pumps to the water cooling tower through the pipe system. In climatic regions where the winter season is harsh, the condenser water is heated by a certain amount of boiler.

Heat Pump Usage Areas

Water Source Heat Pumps heat pumps are generally used in shopping centers, environmentally friendly green housing projects, business centers in all medium and large-scale projects.

Heat pumps are systems that are generally applied in the attic. By connecting the air duct, the heat-laden air is distributed homogeneously to the environment. Another feature of heat pump systems is that some of the devices connected to the same system can heat while others can cool. This feature provides high comfort in large-scale projects during the transition seasons when the southern regions are hot and the northern regions are cold. Wshp heat pump systems can be connected to building automation systems and controlled from central control computers.

Advantages of Heat Pump Systems

Water Source Heat Pumps heat pump systems have higher efficiency than chiller fan-coil systems and VRF systems. Especially, land, sea and river based systems reduce energy costs. It is individually controlled thanks to heat pumps divided into small capacities. Individual control allows users to provide their unique climate value.
